PF old guns ejected in Chililabombwe intra-party polls

PF in Chililabombwe has elected a complete new executive of leaders at both constituency and district levels.

Fredrick Lontosi is the new Chililabombwe PF District chairperson after polling 84 votes to beat his close rival Roy Ngosa who polled 47 votes?

Vice Chairperson Leserly Ngoma polled 85 against the former Mayor Paul Kabuswe while Youth chairperson Joseph Musonda got 90 votes beating John Chibwita with 40 votes.

Naomi Mbulo polled 90 votes to become the new chairperson for women affairs beating Miriam Banda with 39 votes.

At constituency, Thomas Kabanda retains his seat as constituency chairperson, Jane Mutwale won to become boss of the women after beating Chililabombwe Mayor Christabel Mulala. While Jim Chikumbi is new vice chairperson to Mr Kabanda

At Constituency Youth wing Samson Chisambo scooped the position of Youth Chairperson with 343 votes against Canissius Mwansa with 164 votes.

And PF National Chairperson for Elections Yamfwa Mukangwa implored the new leaders to work hard as elections are over.

Mr Mukangwa called for reconciliation among the members becausee they are all members of one family.

He urged the new leaders to take care of their responsibilities and bring the people together and work inclusively.

And Copperbelt Provincial chairperson Steven Kainga welcomed all the new leaders and advised them to use the provincial office.

Mr Kainga told them to embrace everyone for smooth communication.
