Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka is proud to be named the best player in the Austrian top league following his exploits at Red Bull Salzburg.
Daka has been crowned the 2020-21 Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Season.
The 22-year-old has just helped Salzburg to defend the league title after bagging 27 goals in 27 league appearances.
“My biggest thank you goes to my teammates and coaching staff, however, who I would like to dedicate this honour to,” Daka told the club website.
“I am really proud of this and would like to thank all the presidents, club managers and coaches for the award,” he added.
Daka joined Salzburg in 2017 after leaving another Austrian side Liefering.
