A Pastor for named church in Mushindamo district has allegedly killed a 39- year- old man over a dispute over land.
North Western Deputy Commissioner of Police Fred Mulenga said that the Nelson Luyoka the victim is allegedly to have been jointly beaten by Godwin Kutokwa the suspect and the church Choir members after a dispute over a farm land ensued.
Mr Mulenga said the incidence occurred on November 12, 2021 around 16 hours in Mishingwa area in senior Chief Kalilele’s chiefdom.
He said the case was reported by the uncle to the to Luyoka, Geoffrey Loloji that his nephew was beaten to death by the suspect over land.
Mr Mulenga said Luyoka sustained a swollen forehead and bruises on the left side of the ribs.
The body has since been deposited to Solwezi General Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem while the suspect has been arrested.
