Mines caderstre department Director Samuel Maango said that the response is overwhelming.
He said many Zambians have shown a lot of Interest to get into mining following the discovery of a number of minerals in the country.
Mr Maango said while foreigners have been interested in mining in Zambia, local citizens are now accounting for the majority of applicants.
