Over 3 thousand turnout for census jobs in Chingola

Hundreds of applicants hoping to be enumerators for the 2022 Census of population and housing, have turned up for aptitude tests in Chingola.

Chingola District Commissioner, Raphael Chimupi has told The Independent Observer in a telephone interview that the district has received over 3000 applicants out of which 600 will be selected.

Mr Chimupi said the applicants will be writing an aptitude test today and by 15:00 they were waiting for the tablets to be used for writing the test.

He said depending on the time the gadgets arrives others will have to write the test early morning on Thursday.

The exercise is only extended to youths between 18 and 35 years, who have the necessary qualifications.
