United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairperson, Gilbert Liswaniso has refuted allegations by the PF that UPND would flash out civil servants once in Government.
Reacting to a statement by PF that their party would run a vindictive regime once re-elected in Government, Mr Liswaniso said that such propaganda by the ruling party was aimed at demonizing the party in the forthcoming elections.
Mr Liswaniso charged that the unprecedented and dismissals of civil servants suspected to be sympathizers of the opposition UPND is unwarranted and misplaced.
He said that the on-going threats on civil servants by the Pf are baseless and unfounded.
Mr Liswaniso said that the UPND is a party founded on democratic principles and will ensure that civil servants effectively and efficiently play their role of formulating policies based on the party vision of making life better for all
He has assured civil servants in the country that the UPND has no intentions of firing them on the pretext of being perceived as member of the PF.
Mr Liswaniso said that such propaganda was being marketed by the PF in order to deceive unsuspecting Zambians into retaining them in public office come 12th August.
“We shall not be like PF who have cadrerised the civil servants despite being their professionalism, “he said.
