Nkana hopeful of top finish

Nkana Coach Beston Chambeshi expects the 2018 MTN/FAZ super league finish to go to the wire after the club moved second on the league table at the weekend.

Chambeshi says the league remains open to Nkana and Green Buffaloes despite Zesco commanding the table on 73 points.

Nkana moved second on the league table on 65 points after beating Nakambala Leopards three goals to nil.

The Kitwe based team have the same points with Buffaloes but have a superior goal difference.

Chambeshi told ZNBC Sports news in Kitwe that focus and hard work will be key for the 12 time league champions in the remaining games if they are to challenge Zesco united.

He said the remaining five games will be critical for Nkana and the players whom he said need serious psyching for them to finish strong.

The 12-time league champions’ next match is a midweek fixture against struggling and relegation bound Nchanga Rangers today in Chingola/ZNBC.
