Nkana have beaten Tanzanian side Namungo FC 1-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in  Ndola to record their second straight win in Group D of the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup.

Striker Freddy Tshimenga came off the bench to score the goal on Sunday as Nkana completed a double over the Dar-es-Salaam based club.

Tshimenga was set up by Harrison Chisala to score in the 77th minute after replacing Ackim Mumba earlier on 54 minutes.

Nkana beat Namungo 1-0 in the reverse fixture played in Tanzania last week.

Meanwhile, despite the win Nkana stayed third in Group D after increasing their points to six with Namungo remaining bottom with no points after four matches.

Moroccan side Raja Casablanca sits on nine points as Group D leaders and Egyptians Pyramids are second just three points behind.
