New ZIPRC Council to deliver its regulatory mandate – Chipili

Re-elected President of the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC), Irene Chipili, says the new Council is committed to delivering on its regulatory mandate as outlined in the ZIPRC Act of Parliament number 11 of 2022.

Ms Chipili urged the new ZIPRC Leaders to brace themselves for a huge task ahead to transform the Institute.

She was speaking at Radisson Blu Hotel in Livingstone on Wednesday night (March 29, 2023) at the just ended ZIPRC Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Mwiika Malindima was re-elected as Vice President after beating Fitzgerald Muchindu while Sibonelo Jere and Temwa Nyirenda went unopposed as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Chanda Mubanga, Brian Hatyoka, Katendi Wandi, Judith Tembo and Kwali Mfuni were elected as Council Members.

ZIPRC is currently hosting its 10th Public Relations Conference under the theme “Professional and Cutting-edge PR and Communication”.

The Institute will also host its Awards Gala tomorrow night (March 31, 2023).

This year’s Awards will be aired live on Diamond Television (TV).
