Newly appointed Mighty Mufulira Wanderers President George Katongo has revealed his vision to see the legendary club bounce back to the FAZ Super Division.
Mighty are currently competing in the FAZ National Division One League after suffering demotion from the top league last season.
Following his appointment on Monday, Katongo, the former Wanderers National Supporters Chairman, said the club does not deserve to play in the National Division One.
Wanderers are seventh on the table with 24 points from 16 matches played.
“You know our first target should be to bring the team back into the Super Division. We belong in the Super Division,” Katongo said.
“Wanderers have a lot of following so it’s not about me as President but we need to work together,” he said.
Katongo has taken over the role of Wanderers President from Evans Chilekwa who left the post late last year.
