A-14-year old girl of Kabushi Extension in Ndola has allegedly been defiled by her 49 year old biological father.
Confirming the incident, Copperbelt Commissioner of Police Charity Katanga said the victim was a grade nine Pupil at a named school.
Speaking in an interview with Ms Katanga, she said the girl was allegedly defiled by Joseph Chenda, her biological father who was a teacher of Masala Secondary School.
She indicated that the matter was reported on Tuesday, 9 June, 2020 by the victim.
She said the victim narrated that on 23 May, 2020 around 08:00 hours, her young brother aged nine found the father having canal knowledge of the girl in her bedroom.
She said the young brother later rushed and reported the matter to his mother who is currently on separation with her husband.
She said the mother later got her two kids from the man with the help from some people in the area adding that the man is currently detained in Police custody.
