NDC won’t be part of dialogue-Misheck Moyo

By JOHN SAKALA
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not be participate in the dialogue process being spearheaded by the Zambia Center For Inter Party Dialogue ZCID.

NDC acting Spokesperson Misheck Moyo said the party will only participate in the talks if the church is allowed to lead the process.

Mr Moyo said NDC is not comfortable that ZCID has appointed Akashambata Mbikusita Lewanika to chair the talks.

“As a party, we want the ZCID to clarify on how they settled on Dr Lewanika to Chair the dialogue process.

“We do not trust the ZCID and we believe the organization is a surrogate of the PF,” he said.

Other political parties have equally refused to be part of dialogued spearheaded by ZCID but the ruling PF is adamant that the body is the only vehicle it will use for dialogue.
