The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice President Ackson Kaonga has conveyed a message of Condolences to the family of the late Edward Mumbi.
Mr Kaonga encouraged the family to put their hope in the Lord as they mourn because God was the comforter to everyone.
“We are saddened by the death of Mr Edward Mumbi and we wish the family God’s blessings and comfort during this trying moment, we pray for the Mumbi family that God will give them strength and courage to face the obstacles ahead and emerge victorious,” said Mr. Kaonga,” he said.
Mr Kaonga said Zambians must remain steadfast in these trying moments the nation was passing through.
Mr Kaonga also called on the clergy men to pray for the people of Zambia for God to spare their lives from the ravaging Covid 19.
Mr Mumbi was until his death NDC party Vice President.
