Nchanga Rangers unveils new executive

Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) the official sponsor of Nchanga Rangers has unveiled a new executive for the club with clear mandate to help the team win promotion back into elite league.

Nchanga Rangers were relegated last season and KCM has placed the onus upon the new executive to propel the team to greater heights and eventually win promotion into the Zambia Premier league.

For the first time, the team will have a Patron and KCM Head of the Smelter & Refinery Business Unit Enock Mponda will be that man.

KCM Manager at concentrator Yoram Kapai bounces back as Chairperson of the club and he will be deputized by Human Resource expert Victor Mpundu who at the moment is Human Resource Manager for Epiroc.

Another human resource expert Chalwe Chipulu will run the secretariat and will be deputized by IT wizard Matyola Haanyama. Both are KCM employees.

Seasoned KCM Accountant Mwelwa Chilundika is the new Treasurer of the club and will be deputized by Chingola businessman and Director of Galaxy Teddy Mwiche.

Committee members are:

Joseph Munongo- Proprietor of Muno Soccer Academy and KCM employee

Nelius Mumba-Businessman and Director of Lwiche Enterprise and also a Councillor for Bupalo Ward

John Kane-Project Manager Heap Leach Project at KCM and a Vice Chairman for the Young Nchanga Rangers

John Sakala-Journalist and Co-Founder of The Independent Observer

Felix Mvula-Former Nchanga Rangers Chairperson coopted into the executive as an Advisor.
