Nchanga Rangers miss ABSA Cup

By Mercy Chewe
Nchanga Rangers are going into the second round of the 2021/22 National Division One season sitting seventh on the table.

Nchanga have concluded the first round of the season with 26 points from 17 games played.

In their latest match, the Chingola side beat Kabwe Youth 3-0 at Nchanga Stadium.

Brave sit nine points behind Division One league leaders Lumwana Radiants.

Nchanga have so far in the season recorded six wins, seven draws and four defeats.

The team has shown inconsistent in recent matches despite changing coaches.

Nchanga last month hired Coach Robert Tembo after firing club legend Israel Mwanza.

Meanwhile, Nchanga have failed to qualify for the ABSA Cup after finishing outside the top two brackets at the end of the first round matches.

Lumwana and Napsa Stars are the top two teams that have qualified for the only cup competition in Zambia.
