Nchanga Rangers in training kit boost

Brave Nchanga Rangers Football Club has received a training kit boost from ExCo as part of the ‘Project Return’ which is aimed at taking back the glamour side to the FAZ Super Division.

The Club President Patson Nyirenda told the technical bench and players that the grey tops and black shorts procured from Hummel through the support of well-wishers was intended to boost the morale among players.

Nyirenda said the Club continues on the path of restoring the pride of the two-time Zambia Super League Champions.

“Our goal still remains to return to the Super division and I and the ExCo still believe in you to deliver on that goal,” he said.

He was speaking to the players at Nchanga Stadium, where 300 seats have been fitted in the VIP stand as the Stadium continues to get a facelift.

The president told the players that his ExCo’s vision was to ensure the team had ‘decent’ transport.

“We are looking seriously at buying a bus for you guys. I want you to travel for matches in a decent and comfortable manner,” he said.

And the Team Captain Gift Phiri expressed gratitude toward the gesture on behalf of the team and promised to deliver on the Club’s objective.

Coach Israel Mwanza said he understood very well the ambition the ExCo had and would rally his charges to get back to winning ways.

“The team is now looking good and we are geared to produce the required results,” said the coach, who was hired recently.
Nchanga Rangers will face Mufulira Wanderers at Nchanga Stadium in a game that will be televised live on ZNBC TV 3.
