Nchanga Queens have continued to lead the FAZ Women’s National Division One table after beating Konkola Blades Queens 3-1 at home ground on Saturday afternoon in a week 4 fixture.

Nchanga Queens through striker Natasha Shula broke the deadlock in 30th minute and Nchanga Queens took a lead.

The Sharp Razer Queens who came with the morale to defeat the sister club ran riot trying to equalize but the effort did not pay.

In 38th minute the unstoppable strike Ivy Simbeye scored another goal after benefiting from Esther Kayamba’s assist and the first half ended 2-0 in favor of Nchanga Queens.

The defeat pilled more pressure on konkola Queens coach who lost the last game with Manyama Queens of Solwezi.

He introduced some players in the second half to strength the team but they could not contain the pressure from the Sharp spears Queens.

In 55th minute Ivy Simbeye scored a brace goal making it 3-O in favor of Nchanga Queens.

Konkola Queens scored through Sandra Bwale ‘s own goal in 61st minute goal making it 3-1.

The game ended 3-1 and Nchang Queens collected maximum 3poiints from the sister club.
Speaking in a post match interview Nchanga Queens head coach Charity Nthala saluted the Queens for being unbeaten in the 4 games played so far.

Nthala said that their aim is to maintain the top slot on the table so that the team can play Super league the coming season.

Nchanga Queens is on the log with with 12 point while Konkola Queens on number 11 with 1 point.
