Nchanga MP donates diesel powered welding machine

By JOHN SAKALA
Nchanga Member of Parliament Chali Chilombo has donated a diesel powered welding machine which at the same time works as a power generator to youths in Nsansa Ward.

The five kilovolts welding machine was bought at a cost of K27, 000.
Speaking during the handover yesterday at Kabundi Primary School, Mr Chilombo said the two in one welding machine is his youth empowerment initiative aimed at creating employment among youths.

He said the welding machine is a climate change equalizer which can inter-change its work depending on the need either to be a power generator or a welding machine, operating independently from the power grid.Welding machine 2

“You can hire it out as a gen set that is when you are not busy with it. But I need you work as a team so that you can create employment for yourselves. I promised to empower you and now it is time to fulfill those promises,” he said.

And in a vote of thanks Nsansa Ward Youth Chairperson Teddy Mwasha said the donation was a humbling youth empowerment.

Mr Mwasha said the welding machine will make his team of welders to change location so that they are stationed at a prime area which is Phiri market.
