Solwezi Town Clerk Bornwell Luanga says the National Library week is important in creating awareness of the important role libraries playing in improving our reading culture.
Eng Luanga has encouraged members of the public to participate in virtually commemorating this very important week as we partner to eradicate illiteracy in Solwezi district.
He said that the Council Community Library in Kimasala ward will soon be opened to encourage the community enhances their reading culture.
The National Library week will be commemorated from September 21-25, 2020 under the Theme: “Libraries; Your Partners’’ for life.
