NAPSA DEFEATS Zesco

Napsa Stars football club has leap frogged to fifth position on the FAZ/MTN Super league table after a 2-1 victory over Zesco United this afternoon.

The pensioners who were on home turf at the MTN woodlands stadium capitalized on ZESCO’s sloppy defense to record their first victory in five super games .

Aaron Kabwe netted the first goal in the 40th minute as Collins Sikombe scored NAPSA’s Second goal in the 50th minute.

Zesco United who have now recorded two losses in their last five games where resuscitated towards the end of the game and managed to find the back of the net in the 88th minute through John Makwata.

And Napsa Stars’ Coach Mohamed Fathi says victory over Zesco has given the team hope of playing continental football.

Fathi says the team targets to beat all the clubs in the top four and play continental football.

He says there is need for the team to score more goals and push up front despite the victory.
