NAPSA Stars have bolstered their squad with the signing of former Zesco United duo of midfielder Enock Sabumukama and defender David Odhiambo.
Burundian Sabumukama has penned a three year contract while Kenyan Odhiambo has signed a two-year deal.
Napsa Technical Director Honor Janza confirmed the signing of the two players in a statement issued yesterday by club Media and Public Relations Officer Gwen Chipasula.
“We are more than excited to have these two on board because we have no doubt they come in with experience to help us both in the league and continental competition,” Janza said.
Sabumukama and Odhiambo left Zesco last month after their contracts were not renewed at the Ndola side.s
Coach Mohamed Fathi is optimistic the arrival of the duo will add great value to the team.
Meanwhile, Napsa offloaded six players among them midfielder John Sikaumbwa and have also loaned out promising midfielder Kapembwa Musonda to Buildcon.
Others released are defenders Dennis Dauda, Keegan Zulu,Smart Banda, Stephen Phiri and striker Andrew Tolowa.
Janza who is also club general manager thanked the six for their services during their stay at the club.
