Police have apprehended Raphael Nakachinda 43, in connection to a matter he altered derogative message on President Hakahinde Hichilema and the Tonga tribe.
North Western Province youth Chairperson Bruce Kanema reported Nakachinda to the police in North western.
Mr Kanema said Nakachinda While appearing on HOT FM show and stream living on Smart Eagles with Nikiwe on Friday afternoon a PF online Social Media platform, were he stated that the mistake Zambians made was to vote for a typical Tonga person coming from Bweengwa as President.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said police received a complaint from Bruce Kanema against him on allegations that he promoted hate speech against the Tonga speaking people.
Mr Hamoonga said Mr Kanema also alleged that Nakacinda defamed the Republican President in a video that has been widely circulated.
He said the two dockets of the case have since been opened.
