The Bridge connecting Muntimpa, Katuba and Kafibale farming blocks has completely collapsed in Kasompe ward leaving the people disconnected.
The Bridge was completely swept away by heavy down pour last night.
Kasompe ward Councillor Martin Lombe who visited the scene this morning has called on the mines operating in the area to put up a bridge that will stand a test of time.
Mr Lombe said that the bridge that was there was poorly done despite the mines generating revenue.
“We are not getting any tangible social corporate responsibility from Zumrun, Mwambashi and China Copper mines the mining houses working in our area” he said.
He said that the mine should come to the rescue of the communities as the have been disconnected.
