Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company has reassured its customers that it is committed to improving water supply in its areas of operation, despite facing numerous challenges.
Acting Managing Director Wycliff Kunda acknowledged that the current state of services falls short of the company’s standards, but pledged to work tirelessly to address the issues.
Mr. Kunda emphasized the critical role that water and sanitation play in sustainable community development and public health. He noted that improved services will not only enhance the wellbeing of the workforce but also boost the economy.
The company has attributed its challenges to vandalism, unstable power supply, and limited financial resources. However, Mr. Kunda expressed confidence that the ongoing water projects will yield significant improvements in the near future.
