Mulonga Water impressed workmanship at the utility firm

Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Board Chairperson Peter Kazhila says the board is impressed with Mulonga Management workmanship and projects embarked on to improve service delivery.

Mr Kazhila said the company is fighting to give customers good services especially with good water quality.

He said that the utility firm may be facing some challenges in terms of infrastructure like some machinery needs to be replaced but still they are working hard.

Mr Kazhila said that the company is planning on putting up a pipe line from Kafue treatment plant to Chingola once they source for the funds.

Speaking when they toured Mulonga treatment plants in Chingola, Chililabombwe ,  Mufulira and other projects he said that the board members are happy with the over view of what Mulonga is doing at the moment in all its operating towns.

He said that the board wants to ensure that the people in the three district have clean water.

Mulonga Water Acting Managing Director Reuben Kaira said that the tour was for an appreciation and understanding on how best Mulonga can service the people better in a long run.

Mr Kaira said also for the board to help where management may need to improve to have sustainable services.

The board members also toured the Board scheme in Mukambo distribution center and Murundu distribution centre at Kawama sewer line.
