Chibolya Township has two wards namely John Kampengele and Buntungwa ward respectively.

One of the youth Mary Chisenga wondered as to how why they were left out while Buntungwa ward youths benefitted from the empowerment funds.

And James Sikaonga another youth said that it was surprising  to why one ward could benefit when the Government has promised not to leave anyone behind.

“Am also disappointed with my Leaders the Councilor and the member of Parliament for failing to speak on our
Behalf,” he said.

He said their names  where submitted as beneficiaries of the empowerment but it was unfortunate they couldn’t get the money.

And PF Provincial Youth Chairperson Don Mungulube said he will gather more information as to what transpired to the money the Minister of Youth, Sports and Child Development Emmanuel Mulenga left as empowerment to better the livelihood of youths in Mufulira.

Minister of Youth, Sports and Child Development Emmanuel Mulenga said that Government has released funds that targets to empower between 7,000 and 15,000 Youth Marketeers on the Copperbelt to a tune of about K8 Million.
