Mufumbwe Town Council guided to work with the MPs Office

The Parliamentary Committee on Local Government Accounts has guided Mufumbwe Town Council to enhance its work relationship with the area Member of Parliament to speed up development and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy.

Committee Chairperson Darius Mulunda said Members of Parliament can help to speed up development processes where councils may be constrained.

Mr Mulunda said he is happy that the council has a good working relationship with its member of parliament.

He was speaking when Mufumbwe Town Council appeared before the Committee at the National Assembly in Lusaka yesterday.

Committee Member Wesly Kolala commended the Council Secretary Body Kaoma for his good work culture.

Speaking earlier, Mr Kaoma said he has been well guided and will improve according to the counsel given.
