Mufulira stay top in Rugby League

Mufulira Leopards have maintained their number one position in the National Rugby League after forcing a 9-9 draw against champions Red Arrows over the weekend.

Leopards scored three penalties through Mwansa Mwimbe and Alex Mwewa converted three penalties for Arrows.

Leopards have 20 points while second placed Arrows have 19 points as at Week Six.

KPF are third on the table after beating Green Buffaloes 24-15 away in Lusaka to amass 18 points.

Winless Buffaloes are perched at the bottom of the table with no point as at Week 6.

In other games, Diggers lost to Lusaka by 25-24 and Nkwazi lost to Green Eagles by 16-3.

Fourth placed Eagles have 14 points, one above Nkwazi, who are number five on the table.
