Mpulungu has been cut off from the rest of the Country following the collapse of the Lunzua Bridge on the main Road due to heavy rains experienced for over four hours.
Northern Province Permanent Secretary Elias Kamanga posted on his Facebook Page that the Mpulungu was cut off.
“My office is currently trying to mobilise response through my colleagues at Infrastructure, DMMU and Defence to restore connectivity,” Mr Katanga said.
