Mporokoso District Education Board Secretary has committed suicide after he tested positive for COVID -19.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said Joseph Kamalonda 56, was found hanging to a window burglar bars by a nursing staff in the bathroom of the Covid- 19 isolation house using oxygen nasal prongs.
Ms Katongo said the sudden and unnatural death was reported by a named District nursing officer at Mporokoso Covid -19 isolation Centre.
She said the body has been taken to Mporokoso District Hospital mortuary and an Inquiry has been instituted in the matter.
