Motor vehicle stolen during women’s day celebrations

Police in Ndola have instituted investigations in the theft of motor vehicle Toyota Ipsum reg number ACP 4112 black in colour valued at K60, 000.

Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba said that brief facts are that Kombe Mulenga 60, the complainant went with his vehicle into town to celebrate International Women’s Day at the civic center.

Mr Mweemba said he parked his vehicle at Lowenthal Theater Club.

He said immediately after the event was over, he went to where he had parked his vehicle and discovered that the vehicle wasn’t there.

“He made a report at Ndola central police station. The scene was visited, and the report confirmed and Docket opened, “he said.

And in another development  a-51-year-old man of Chambishi was stubbed with a screw driver on the left arm by a man who owed him money.

Brief facts of the matter are that the suspect borrowed money from the victim.

The victim saw the suspect at the market and approached him to ask for his credit.

It was at this point that the suspect who is an electrician got annoyed and removed a screwdriver from his bag and stubbed the victim.

The matter was reported to police who visited the place and apprehended the suspect and the Said screwdriver recovered.
