Most women not financially stable to fight GBV-Veep

Vice President Mutale Nalumango is concerned that most women are not financially stable and are not able to fight Gender Based Violence related issues.

And Ms Nalumango notes that the church has continued to empower women in different fields with emphasis on upholding Christian principles and values.

The vice president was speaking in a speech read on behalf her by Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata, during the commemoration of the 2022 World Day of Prayer which was held under the theme “I know the plans I have for you” quoted from Jeremiah 29 verse
one to 14 in Lusaka today.

Ms Nalumango said that it is pleasing to note that the organization has been combining prayer and women empowerment programmes towards.

And World Day of Prayer president, Queen Chilobwa says that the world faces a number of risks and the church should not drop the guard in praying for peace and unity. ZANIS
