Mopani Copper Mines has terminated the medical credit facility for Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) employees based in Kitwe where KCM does not have a mine hospital.
KCM employees and their dependents will now have to pay cash.
The reason for this move was not explained in a memorandum written by Emelia Nkhoma and addressed to Cost Accountant at Wusakile Mine hospital.
