The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has handed Konkola Mine Police Football Club (KMPFC) a slot to compete in division one.
The decision has been arrived at following Nchanga Rangers’ acquisition of FAZ Division One Side Circuit City, a move which has caused a vacancy.
KMPFC has therefore hit the ground running with a fixture against Ndola United this tomorrow.
Club President Gideon Mwenya has received the news with joy.

Mwenya says players are overly excited about the development and upbeat about the Ndola United date.
He has since thanked FAZ for according his club a chance to compete at the highest level.
