The Zambia Meteorological Department is closely monitoring the movements of Tropical Cyclone Freddy which is currently over Madagascar.
Speaking in a statement, the department says It will keep the nation informed of any effects it may cause on the country’s weather pattern.
The department however said no effects on the prevailing weather patterns have so far been observed over Zambia.
Tropical Cyclone Freddy is currently over Madagascar and is anticipated to move and make a land fall over Mozambique by Friday
