Malawian Under 23 International midfielder Mike ‘Messi’ Mkwate is set for trials at Zambian money bags Buildcon FC.
Mkwate nicknamed as Messi or Digital plays for Malawian Giants Nyasa Big Bullets recently gave a good account of himself when the Junior Flames played against the Junior Chipolopolo in a AFCON Under 23 qualifier.
The 20 year old midfielder who wears number 10 for club and country was praised by a section of Zambian fans at Heroes Stadium whenever he touched the ball and Buildcon did not waste time in convincing him to have trials.
The trials come a day after he helped his club beat rivals Beforward Wanderers 1-0 in the Malawian Charity Shield.
He left Malawi yesterday together with Under 23 and Bullets teammate Peter Banda as the duo will be assessed by Buildcon for 3 days/Phoenix News.
