Mbesuma’s amatuks out to boost promotion hopes

An encounter between University of Pretoria and TS Galaxy will headline this weekend’s GladAfrica Championship action.

Former Premier Soccer League (PSL) side AmaTuks, who have Collins Mbesuma on their books, will host 2019 Nedbank Cup champions Galaxy at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Moroka Swallows will be looking extend their unbeaten run to seven matches when they take on a struggling Mbombela United side at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.

While promotion hopefuls, Steenberg United are set to lock horns with a stubborn Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila side at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Limpopo.

Uthongathi FC will be looking to climb to the top of the league standings with a victory over Cape Umoya United at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban.

Their KwaZulu-Natal rivals, Royal Eagles will be desperate for a win when they square off with promotion hopefuls, JDR Stars at the Soshanguve Stadium in Pretoria.

TS Sporting will be keen to move further away from the relegation zone when they face off with former PSL side Free State Stars at the Kabokweni Stadium in Mpumalanga.

On Sunday, relegation-threatened Jomo Cosmos are set to travel to the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richard’s Bay where they are scheduled to face Richards Bay.
