International footballer Collins Mbesuma has invited foreign and local scouts for this weekend’s Copperbelt Youth Soccer tournament being organised by his academy at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya.
Mbesuma said 24 Under-15 and Under-18 Teams have confirmed their participation in the youth tournament taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
The former Roan United striker said the second edition of the Copperbelt Youth Soccer tournament will help to identify young talent.
Mbesuma said the competition will help to identify talented youngsters in the country.
“This tournament is an opportunity for players to show their talent,” Mbesuma said.
“We are calling scouts to come and look at the players, especially from under 18 teams. There is a scout from Portugal whom I worked with in Europe who wants to come and watch the competition,” he said.
