Patriotic Front (PF) Chingola Mobilisation Youth Coordinator Martin Simwaba has declared interest in contesting the Kasala Ward race in Nchanga Constituency.

Mr Simwaba made the declaration on New Year in Kabundi East at a party organised for the PF Ward Executive.

He said he decided to notify the ward so that they form a team that can work closely.

“Teamwork is the way I do things. As such I thought, I should declare my interest to you first so that you can guide and give me advice.

“The major agenda should be win elections for President Edgar Lungu, Our Member of Parliament that way, my work will be easier as Councillor if am adopted and win,” he said.

And Kasala Ward Chairperson Thomas Malama implored Mr Simwaba to work with structures.

Mr Malama said Kasala Ward is among the few blessed wards with more two schools which have several needs.

He said some roads in Kabundi East are impassable; hence need a leader that can mobilise the community to make them motorable.

He was accompanied Bupalo Ward Councillor Nelius Mumba and another friend of his Nkweto Kasonka.
