Marooned trucks start moving

By ALICE NACHILEMBE
Chingola District Commissioner Agnes Tonga said trucks marooned along the highway in Chingola have started moving.

Ms Tonga said that the situation has started normalizing and in the next coming days the trucks will be cleared.

She said this when during the spot inspection to see the situation and the flow of traffic.

The DC expressed gratitude that the truckers are cooperating with what has been stipulated for only 300 trucks allowed every day.

The past two weeks, trucks were stuck on the road as they were not allowed to go through at the border.
