Tourism and Arts Minister Charles Banda has called on Chinese tour operators to promote the Victoria Falls as a Zambian tourist product.
Dr Banda says no other country can claim having the falls apart from Zambia and Zimbabwe that share the heritage site.
He says some countries in the region are marketing the site as if it is in theirs, despite these countries being located thousands of kilometers away.
Dr Banda was speaking when he addressed Chinese tour operators during the Zambia Tourism Promotion Presentation at Asia Hotel in Beijing, China.
Meanwhile Chinese Director General of the International Exchanges and Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Xie Jinying said China will continue to promote cooperation with Zambia.
