A-37-year-old man of Kitwe has been arrested for allegedly having canal knowledge (sex) with a dog.
Brief facts are that on November 5, 2023 around 20.00 hours, the Complainant went to bed leaving everything intact including her bottle store which happens to be a structure within her yard well secured.
At around 22.00 hours, she heard her dog making funny noise.
As the noise continued, it prompted her to check what was happening outside.
Upon putting on the light where the dog was she saw Hendrix Musukwa having carnal knowledge of her dog.
Copperbelt Police Commanding Office Peacewell Mweemba confirmed that the suspect was later apprehended and taken to Kitwe West Police Post.
Mr Mweemba said a docket of case for bestiality opened and investigations instituted.
He said the scene was visited where it was observed that the suspect took advantage of the dog for he had worked at the same bottle store before, as a general worker.
The dog sustained severe bleeding and was later taken to SPCMU for examinations.
