Police Officers in Petauke have arrested the porn circulating star Rodgers Mwanza 38 of Petauke Township, the suspect behind the video which went viral on Social media.
Banda was seen sexually harassing a woman in an unconscious state.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said Banda was apprehended today, September 7, 2018 at about 15 30 hours in Lilongwe, Malawi where he went to hide.
She said the suspect initially attempted to mislead the Police by stating that he was in Mozambique when in the actual fact he was in Lilongwe.
“He is currently detained in Police custody yet to be charged. A comprehensive statement will be issued soon.
“A statement was already recorded from the victim who had availed herself to Police,” she said.
