A-40-year old man of Lusaka has been arrested for allegedly having sex with his 66-year-old grandmother against her will.
Alick Mwasilila of Chawama Township in Lusaka has been arrested for incest after he was allegedly caught having canal knowledge of his grandmother.
Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale said facts of the matter are that the accused took advantage of his grandmother who is unwell and was asleep in her bedroom.
Mr Mwale said the victim was rescued by the neighbor’s who heard her shouting for help.
He said the incident occurred on July 13, 2021 around 16:00 hours in Chawama Compound.
“The suspect was apprehended and surrendered to Police while the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination,” he said.
