Police in Lusaka have arrested a 22-year-old man who was found unburying baby graves and removing wrappers from dead babies at Chingwere Cemetery.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said Fieste Tembo of no fixed abode was found unburying baby graves by an assistant foreman at the cemetery.
She said the suspect is report to be a Convict facing a similar offence and his serving a suspended sentence of two years since August 2020.
Ms Katongo said that one baby blanket was spotted in the openand the suspect was also found with a plastic containing suspected cannabis.
she said a docket of case has been opened and the suspect will also be handed over to the Drug Enforcement Commission .
