A woman in her 20s has been sexually abused, killed and dumped by the assailants.
Regina Phiri aged between 20 and 25 of 13 Miles in Kabangwe Area was found half naked after being sexually used and abused.
Police Assistant Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi has told The Independent Observer that Ms Phiri was found half naked with physical injuries on the face.
Mr Chilabi said police have launched a manhunt and investigations because police suspect a foul play.
“The body was found dumped around 02:00 hours, by patrolling police officers near the junction between Great North Road and the road that leads to Moomba Police Post in Kabangwe Area.
“The body is in Lusaka’s University Teaching Hospital (UTH) mortuary awaiting postmortem. We wish to appeal to members of public with any information that my assist in apprehending the suspects to report to any police station,” he said.
