Lusaka Water connects Kanyama

Water and Sewerage Company has done 37 per cent of the works to connect Kanyama to the water network.

Kanyama and Kuku are susceptible to outbreak during rainy season in an effort to combat the diarrhea diseases which rock Lusaka each rainy season.

In the pictures Ministry of Water Development Permanent Secretary Bishop Ed Chomba, National Revolution Party President Cosmo Mumba and the Mayor of Lusaka Mr Miles Sampa in the company of LWSC managing Director Jonathan Kampata conduct site spot check to ensure that the works are completed before the onset of the rains.

Mr Kampata said about 60 water kiosks will also be constructed in the area.
