President Edgar Lungu has fired the two Deputy Inspectors of Police for Operations Bonny Kapeso and Administration Eugene Sibote.
This follows the shooting of State Prosecutor Nsama Nsama and UPND sympathiser Joseph Kaunda by police.
Meanwhile Copperbelt Police Chief Charity Katanga, popularly known as the iron lady has been elevated to Deputy Inspector General of Police in Charge of Operations.
