Champions Lunga Bullets have opened a one point lead at the top of the Copperbelt Men’s Basketball Super League after two wins as the competition resumed following the Covid-19 induced break.
Lunga and Mufulira Magnets were joint league leaders before the competition was suspended two months ago when Covid-19 cases increased.
In their latest games, Lunga beat IC Tigers 70-56 in Kalulushi and Luanshya Eagles 84-59 away in Luanshya at the weekend.
The 2019 champions have 11 points from six games played.
Second placed Magnets have 10 points after beating Kansanshi Panthers 43-40 in their latest game.
In the Men’s B League, CEC Blazers have a one point lead over second placed Don Bosco of Chingola.
Blazers are leading with 12 points after edging Dawn Panthers 65-53.
