Patriotic Front (PF) Lufwanyama Information Publicity Secretary Henry Chilombo says the district has received 44,823 and 29,698 bags of Compound D and top dressing (urea) fertilizer.
Mr Chilombo has expressed gratitude that 9,124 farmers from Lufwanyama will benefit under the FISP program.
He implored officers from the Ministry of Agriculture in Lufwanyama to expedite the distribution of the remaining consignment of farming inputs.
Mr Chilombo said that farmers in Lufwanyama have already deposited Three Million Six Hundred Forty Nine Thousand Six Hundred Kwacha in the bank.
Government has also delivered 9,030 by 10 kg bag of maize seed out of the total number of 10,834 by 10 kg bag of maize seed allocated to the district.
The district has also received Three Thousand by 20 kg bag of groundnut seed out of 5, 422 by 20kg of groundnut seed consignment allocated to Lufwanyama.
